Do you have an appreciation for entrepreneurs, a passion for Wealth Planning and a desire to make an impact within a growing organization?

We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated Associate Wealth Advisor to work on our established Wealth Planning Team. The Associate Wealth Advisor will work with a Senior Advisor and the AltruVista Wealth Planning Team to ensure a superior client experience. As the primary trusted advisor to our high net worth clients, the Associate Wealth Advisor maintains a pulse on everything that impacts our clients, and is responsible for overall client management and retention. Specifically, you will be asked to do the following:


Client Relationship Management

  • Facilitate the AltruVista wealth planning process, serving as the primary point of contact for clients, their families and their team of partners and advisors
  • Prepare for, lead and quarterback to completion all ongoing client meetings and client service activities
  • Maintain responsibility for all client contact and communication

Wealth Planning

  • Build comprehensive, customized financial plans designed to meet the specific needs and concerns of our entrepreneurial clients
  • Understand the investment strategy of the organization, with the ability to provide clients investment recommendations
  • Holistically monitor clients’ portfolios to ensure they adhere to the outlined plan
  • Continually reinforce our value proposition with clients and encourage referrals
  • Stay current on products, services and regulations that could impact our clients
  • Direct and monitor workflows required to service clients

Strategic Alliance Development

  • Develop strategic relationships with our partners in an effort to effectively refer business and leverage partnerships to deepen and enrich the client experience
  • Participate in the planning and execution of strategic alliance events

Our ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • An appreciation and understanding of entrepreneurs
  • Knowledge of key financial, investment and risk management concepts
  • A passion to help clients achieve their goals, and a desire to strengthen alliance partnerships to facilitate that
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Outstanding communication and relationship building skills
  • Experience with eMoney and CRM tools
  • 4+ years of financial planning, family office and/or investment advisory experience with high net worth clients
  • Registrations and credentials: CFP®, Series 65
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a concentration in business, economics or financial planning

We are currently searching for a Portfolio Manager to join our growing team. The Portfolio Manager serves as the investment point of contact for the organization and is responsible for the overall management and implementation of the organization’s investment functions, ensuring our investment strategy aligns with, and furthers, the organization’s vision and strategic plans for growth.

Specifically, you will be asked to do the following:

Client Investment Planning

  • Analyze prospective client portfolios and identify gaps and opportunities
  • Work with the planning team to determine the appropriate asset allocation for clients
  • Serve as the primary investment contact for clients; ensuring clients are kept abreast regarding market conditions, updated investment research and economic trends

Investment Strategy

  • Collaborate with our Senior Planning Team members to manage our organization’s investment strategy and ensure alignment with our investment philosophy
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of market conditions, trends and the overall economic outlook; providing thought leadership and investment expertise to the organization
  • Conduct product due diligence, meeting with external vendors as appropriate
  • Coordinate the quarterly investment committee meeting

Investment Execution

  • Ensure accounts are managed to the appropriate model, while tracking and reporting on exceptions
  • Conduct Quarterly Performance Reporting and Benchmarking
  • Design and manage the appropriate infrastructure to execute the investment strategy with optimal use of technology and in the most effective and efficient manner
  • Ensure all compliance standards are met

Our ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • An appreciation and understanding of entrepreneurs
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build and foster a strong network of relationships
  • An in-depth knowledge of financial markets, economics and portfolio theory
  • High degree of efficiency in data interpretation
  • CFA certification preferred
  • 5+ years of comparable experience within the Financial Services or Investment Management field
  • College degree, preferably in Business, Finance, Economics
